FAQ's

Can we bring more than 12 People?

At this time the maximum number of passengers we can accommodate is 10.  This is due to US Coast Guard regulations for safety.  There are no exceptions to this rule. Due to Bare Boat Charter Regulations, you have to option to choose and discharge a Captain for cause. The Captain must be paid for separately (No additional Cost, the fee is built into the hourly price). All fees must be paid before your trip will depart. 

Do we need to tip?

Tips are not required but they are greatly appreciated. If your Captain goes above and beyond to make your event special, feel free to let us and your Captain know! Standard tips are 10% - 20%.

What is the age limit for Passengers and can we drink alcohol?

Anyone attending a party cruise must be 18 or older. Anyone wishing to consume alcohol must show proof of age and be 21 or older.  If anyone under 18 would like to attend, they must be accompanied by their legal guardian and all attendees must sign a consent form. Anyone under 21 will be required to wear a wrist band. Any underage drinking will cause the trip to be terminated, no exceptions and no refunds. 

What is the policy for bad weather?

Our boat is equipped with a full rain fly so light rain and wind will not be a cause for cancellation. In the event of extreme weather  the Captain will make a determination based on safety as to the need for cancellation. In the event of a weather cancellation, a credit will be provided for future bookings. 

What amenities are provided?

Our boat has a small kitchen with an alcohol stove, propane kettle grill, coolers with ice, changing room and bathroom (for emergencies), storage for personal goods, waterslide, paddle boards, floating dock, and swim noodles. We also have a Bluetooth sounds system for you to connect and play your choice of music. 

Where does the boat pickup and drop off? 

All trips start and end at the Harbor Island Boat Launch Pubic Bathrooms Parking lot. Please arrive 15 minutes early to ensure that we depart at the scheduled time, the duration of your trip will not be extended for late arrivals. This location has free parking and public restrooms! If walking from town, this location is 1 mile away. If preferred, drop off downtown is also available. 

What is the cancellation policy?

Once a trip is booked, we do not offers refunds or cancellations. You are welcome to request a different date 14 days in advance and if it is open, we will change the date. Thanks for your understanding! 

How hard can we party?

MIPartyBoat wants you to have an unforgettable experience so please be cautious how much you drink. Alcohol has a greater effect when mixed with the sun and being on a boat. Your safety is our top priority so if the Captain deems anyone is too drunk, the trip will be terminated with no refunds. No illegal substances are allowed on our boat.  In order to keep our boat in top condition for your future trips, cigarette smoking is also not allowed on the boat.  However, if you want to smoke on the sandbar or while floating in the water, that is ok. Vapes and pens are acceptable. 

What is Required to Reserve my spot? 

To reserve your spot, a $250 non refundable deposit is required. If the trip needs to be changed due to inclement weather, available dates will be provided. The captains fee (deducted from the hourly rate) will be paid directly to the Captain at the time of departure and the rest of the balance will be due 15 days before.
